LOST IN TRANSLATION

The face appears clear and present, while the body and the layers of color beneath it begin to dissolve, as if emotions, identity, or unspoken words lose their shape before they can be expressed.

The contrast between warm skin tones and cool hues suggests two inner worlds existing side by side, never quite meeting. The defined lines of the face become an attempt to translate the self, while everything beneath remains open, raw, and unresolved.

Although inspired by my own experiences, I believe every painting finds a different meaning in the eyes of its viewer. I hope this work becomes a space where you can recognize a part of your own story.
