The figure stands front-facing, caught between presence and distance. Her gaze suggests she is listening to a memory, a voice from the past, something beyond the visible.
The high white turtleneck becomes a protective layer, symbolizing purity, self-control, and emotional restraint. The closed neck creates a separation between thought and feeling.

Memories linger, thoughts continue to circle. The emotional weight gathers in the face, while the body remains suspended — open, waiting, unfinished.

Although inspired by my own experiences, I believe every painting finds a different meaning in the eyes of its viewer. I hope this work becomes a space where you can recognize a part of your own story.
